This beautiful cushion cut diamond ring has a 1.50-carat square cushion brilliant diamond set in a custom platinum Richard Landi engagement ring. The diamond ring features eighteen pave round diamonds with 0.25 total carat weight. There are five diamonds on each side of the shank and four diamonds on each side of the eight-prong crown-style basket head. The diamond ring has exquisite filigree design on the shank and basket while the bottom of the shank is hand carved.

The cushion cut diamond measures 8.23 x 6.50 x 3.97 mm so it has a length-to-width ratio of 1.27. Cushion cut diamonds come in various shapes from those almost square (length to width ratio 1.05 or less) to very rectangular (ratio 1.30 or more) to everything in between. The classic pillow shape tends to have ratios in the 1.10 – 1.20 range. This cushion cut diamond has a 61.1% depth percentage and a 64% table percentage. For cushion-cut diamonds, we recommend a depth of 59-69% and table of 50-65% with smaller percentages generally producing bigger size for the carat weight and better cut.
