The Asscher cut diamond measures 7.72 x 7.53 x 4.85 mm so it has a length-to-width ratio of 1.02, which appears square to the eye. The GIA considers shapes square when the length-to-width ratio is 1.05 or less. The Asscher cut diamond has a 64.4% depth percentage and a 59% table percentage. For Asscher shape diamonds, we suggest a depth of 58-69% and table of 50-65% with smaller percentages producing larger size for the carat weight and better cut.
